Integrative Cancer Treatment does not replace your oncology team. It does however, give you additional treatment options that include IV Vitamin C therapy, infrared sauna therapy, herbal and nutritional support.
Cancer cells take over when the immune system is not equipped to control the malignant cells that can grow very quickly and invade healthy tissues. Often, you have no warning and are not aware of what is happening until things have progressed. Chances are you may not be in the best of health when you are diagnosed because cancer takes advantage of and takes over an unhealthy, overworked and stressed out body. Fighting cancer will take a lot of energy, leaving you feeling even more tired and depleted. Your immune system will need all of the help it can get to stay strong, overcome and recover from cancer.
Integrative Cancer Treatment will help you learn a little about self care, restoring your body and adding in nutrition, while attacking cancer cells. Putting the body into an alkaline state with certain foods helps to keep cancer cells from multiplying. Adding high quality foods like fruits and vegetables, fiber, protein and healthy fats provide energy and antioxidants that are needed to keep your body strong. Herbs, botanicals and vitamin supplementation support and help put up a defense against cancer cells, repair the damage done and protect from further damage. Using integrative, natural methods heals without the side effects that can occur with many of the medications used in cancer treatments.
Vitamin C
IV Vitamin C is at the core of our cancer treatment protocol. Vitamin C at high levels, that can only be reached with IV infusion, have been shown to kill cancer cells but not normal cells in multiple studies. Vitamin C at these high concentrations were also shown to slow tumor growth and shed toxins from the body.
The reason Vitamin C is given intravenously is that even a few grams of vitamin C taken by mouth can cause diarrhea, and the amount needed to fight cancer cells is many times that. Vitamin C is more natural to the body, even in these high doses, than most pharmaceuticals, and thus has fewer side effects.
Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that can reduce the harm caused by various toxins. It also acts as a chelator that can help remove metals from the body. Since Vitamin C can strip minerals from the body as well as metals, a mineral supplement is usually given after the IV vitamin C treatment. The Prestige Protocol for Cancer Treatment includes a weekly infusion of vitamins and minerals to help keep you balanced.
Before giving high doses of Vitamin C, we do require a special blood test called G6PD. Because if you are G6PD deficient, you could experience harmful complications from a very high dose infusion of Vitamin C. SAFETY FIRST! To keep you safe, we will also need to check your iron levels and kidney function before starting the protocol.
The most common side effects from IV Vitamin C are low blood sugar, dehydration and thirst. Our team will be there with healthy snacks and water available just in case.
Glutathione
Glutathione is another important part of treatment. Glutathione (especially in the liver) binds with toxins in order to detoxify them and get them out of the body. Glutathione is also important in red and white blood cell formation and throughout the immune system. Glutathione is critical for maintaining health, protecting the body from toxins, and promoting longevity.
The Program
Our program is 3 months in duration, includes an initial consultation with our provider, weekly IV Vitamin C infusions, IV glutathione, IV Vitamin and Mineral infusion, nutritional support, nutritional herbs and supplements shown to support immunity and fight cancer and ongoing monitoring with our team. If more than 3 months is needed for less aggressive maintenance treatments, that can be arranged as well.
First, you will be connected to our patient coordinator to answer questions, gather information and review the program. If the program is a good fit for your needs, a consultation with one of our providers will scheduled and you will receive an order to have any necessary labs drawn (specifically, that G6PD we mentioned). During the initial visit with one of our providers, you will discuss your current health, holistic care needs, type of cancer diagnosed, any treatments received, any current or past medical conditions, review labs and discuss your recommended treatment plan. Your plan will be adjusted according to your specific needs.
After the initial visit, our patient coordinator will answer any additional questions you may have about the process and get you scheduled for your first treatment.

Labs will be ordered at the beginning of your treatment, as discussed, and every 2-4 weeks throughout the program to monitor your blood cell counts, hydration status, metabolic panel, kidneys, liver, vitamin levels and iron.
